Sign up for Embracing Pleasure: A sex & intimacy support group for women
As someone who has been facilitating groups for nearly 20 years, I’ve seen firsthand how transformative this kind of connection can be. There is incredible healing in gathering with others who truly understand what you’re going through.
The hurdles women face in trying to come together in community are real and significant. From time constraints and caregiving responsibilities to cultural messages that encourage competition over connection, it can feel like the odds are stacked against us.
But we are here inviting you to gather.
Because when women come together, something powerful happens.
Healing happens. Growth happens. Transformation happens.
The Pause! Helping Women to Thrive in Transition
We welcome women who are unsure if they are in perimenopause and women who are approaching menopause. (Want to know the difference? Sign up!)
Perimenopause (which can begin in your mid-30's) isn’t just about physical symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats. It’s a full-body, whole-mind transition that can change how you see yourself.
Once you submit the sign up form, one of the co-leads will reach out to talk about the group and answer any questions.
Unlearning Shame & Embracing Pleasure: Sex & Intimacy Support Group
A sex-positive support group where women come together to:
Build comfort and confidence in talking about sexuality and pleasure
Learn about how our bodies function and respond to pleasure
Process negative and positive experiences in a safe, supportive community
Explore and name our unique desires and needs
Create goals for pleasure and intimacy that feel authentic and empowering
Both groups are intentionally built to hold a safe space as we navigate embracing our bodies. Research shows us that groups improve our lives, reduce stress, and empower us to face challenges.
Erin Brandt (that’s me!) will be leading the sex & intimacy group, and The Pause! support group is led by me and Lurah Patrick. We are both graduate students at Adams State University for Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and under the supervision of the amazing staff at Her Time Therapy.
